REAC Fuel is hiring a very experienced Vice President of Engineering, who together with the team will scale up the technology to a sustainable chemical process.In REAC Fuel you will interact with our team of experts to develop the next generation of liquid bio-fuels.You will work within a creative organization where respect and knowledge are highly regarded values. Arbetsbeskrivning Working tasks The Vice President of Engineering reports to the CEO and works closely with the other functional leaders in the company.The Vice President of Engineering is responsible for all of the company s product engineering activities. Responsibilities: . Develop strategic planning for and direction together with control of product development activities. . Provide technical direction and guidance, as well as hands-on management, for all product development. . Ensure the optimal application of technology and engineering resources to meet product development and/or customer requirements. . Establish technical standards and ensure adherence to them for product development and company operations. Erfarenhet Experience and requirements: It is of outmost importance that you have deep knowledge of scale up from laboratory bench through pilot to integrated demonstration.You should also be familiar with elevated temp and pressure processes and thermal processing of biomass.Knowledge of materials of construction with their specification, and the supply chain for small, intermediate scale equipment is highly valued.You have experience and ability to interpret processing requirements into engineering practice with a view to developing a safe, economic and high energy efficient conversion of feedstock to product. As the Vice President of Engineering at REAC Fuel you holds a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality.Importantly, you must enjoy spending time in the market to understand customer problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market. Requirements: . At least 10 years engineering experience. . Degree in chemical Engineering required. . Solid understanding of engineering technical issues/needs.. Product development knowledge in relation to skills in economic optimization and market requirements.. Strong operational and project management skills.. Demonstrated team building and leadership skills.
