We have also shifted from empty plots outside the city to existing building within the city. We want you to have experience from site search briefs and due diligence checks (for property) to permitting and management of obligations. We also believe that working together is important for you since you need to partner up with other stakeholders, both internal and externals. Since our real estate business is done in all our markets you need international experience.

To succeed as a Real Estate Development Manager, you need:
• experience at management level from large-scale retail real estate development
• proven skills in developing people and provide support, coaching, training, and career direction to others
• experience in contract negotiations for land acquisition with landowners
• experience in negotiating and closing zoning, planning and investment agreements with public authorities
• academic degree in law/urban planning/business administration/architecture
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In the position as Real Estate Development Manager you will lead people and the real estate development business to deliver safe, compliant, sustainable and innovative property solutions according to the real estate scope in Ingka.
Amongst other tasks you will:
• lead the real estate development business in Ingka
• manage and develop the real estate development competence to achieve the real estate scope
• be responsible for the real estate process of land scouting, acquisition, zoning, planning etc.
• define, identify and assess risks connected to real estate development
• support the countries/clusters in their relations with local authorities and communities throughout the whole land scouting, acquisition, zoning, planning and permitting process
• Lead Asset management tasks and topics according to Company goals and priorities and Global directions.
• Manage and secure professional long-term relations with external and internal counterparts to ensure execution of asset management.
You will report to the Real Estate Manager and be part of the Global Real Estate management group. This position is placed in Malmö.
