Recently graduated Danish speaking interested in international tender work?
The Tender Department of Staples Sweden and Denmark is responsible for the full tender process of creating and submitting pricing and narrative proposals for public, private and international tender responses as well as the optimization of the accounts throughout the contract length together with the responsible sales representative and management. The team consists of 14 people and has a strong experience within the business from which the chosen candidate has a wealth of knowledge to gain from but also the opportunity to inject energy and drive.
The key focus for the chosen candidate is to grow into a role of international tender work with respect to pricing and local Danish tender work with respect to writing narratives and legal texts.
This includes for example:
- Tender and re-tender pricing and narrative proposals
- Reviews of existing customer assortment and prices
- Creating customer facing proposals in ever-improving fashions and driving the development of them in terms of customer perception of our proposal
- Occasional coordination of the above work on a Nordic level and participating in the local work in Sweden and Denmark as well as internationally across Europe
Going into the role with the mindset that development into the role will happen over a mid- (6 months) to long-term (2 years) time period as the work and responsibilities will grow over time together with your own development.
Din profil
The chosen candidate will be based in Borås, 45 min from Gothenburg, Sweden but there will also be extensive time spent in the Danish office in Espergærde, Denmark – especially during the introduction period of around 6 months.
Master’s degree within any field will be taken into account.
Nice to have: Previous work within tender, pricing or related fields of business. Work with legal texts related to public procurement in 1. Denmark and 2. Sweden.
Must have: Danish (written and spoken), English (written and spoken)
Swedish (spoken)
Creative and developed use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint will be key parts of your daily work and being developed and being able to develop within these programs will help you to excel in this position.
Knowledge and creative and developed use within Microsoft Access, SQL and VBA is also a big plus. This only counts if the candidate has the ability to develop tools within these programs on their own for the benefit of others.
Must have: An eye for details combined with a relentless work effort to get the details right while still maintaining the big picture thinking
A creative and international mindset that always look for improvement and development points and to cooperate both with the rest of the department but also other related functions and departments.
