Do you want to be a part of revolutionizing the industry sector whilst simultaneously doing your bit to combat climate change? Dalarna University and ScanArc are looking for a recent graduate who wants to contribute to the technical development of plasma technology!
Plasma technology makes it possible to convert electrical energy into hot gas. Scanarc´s motto is We provide heat where it matters and want to contribute to the global ambition of electrifying the industry sector and reducing the use of fossil fuel. We are offering you, as a KTP project lead, to take your first step on the career ladder, working with an exciting project which focuses on reducing the use of fossil fuels.
Your task as KTP project lead at ScanArc
One of the areas in which plasma technology can be utilised is agriculture. This technology makes it possible for farmers to recycle nitrogen and produce their own fertilizer with lower emissions of greenhouse gases, improve resource efficiency and lower their costs – this changes the value chain from linear to circular! ScanArc, together with their partners, want to take on the challenge to speed up the technological developments, and need a dedicated project lead to manage this work. The role involves contact with partners and leading the development at ScanArc.
The plasma generator and accompanying electrical system forms a key component of the required technology. ScanArc has been tasked to create a prototype. The project involves collecting and delivering requirement specifications to customers, sub-contractors and final users in the value chain. Purchasing, manufacturing, assembly and extensive testing will be organised and conducted by the KTP project lead alongside colleagues at ScanArc. The goal is the development of a prototype which fulfills commercial demands and is suitable for mass production.
As KTP Project Lead you will be able to develop your position and determine your own daily work duties. You can look forward to gaining new knowledge and insight from day one, working with a coach from academia and a coach from the industry sector. Simply put, this forms a great basis on which to succeed in this project!
