The Administration Directorate at the European Spallation Source (ESS) in Lund, Sweden, invites applications for a Receptionist.
Description of directorate/division
The General Services Division supplies you with a first smile and greeting when you arrive, and a warm goodbye when you leave. We are here for all our visitors. The division is also responsible for the switchboard, handling goods, office supplies, office support, office planning and a lot more.
Description of main responsibilities
As a receptionist at ESS you take care of visitors in a professional and service-oriented manner, people are important and we want our values ??to appear in the first meeting. You are the first person our visitors will meet, its for you to greet them, determine the nature of the visit and handle sign in and security procedures. You will receive and route incoming telephone calls, take and distribute accurate messages. You will also respond to routine inquiries from internal or external sources and handle post, both in and out going. You will assist in booking of meeting rooms, lunches, taxis, bikes and perform other common tasks that are relevant to the position.
Qualifications
A minimum of 3 - 5 years work experience as a receptionist is a must, preferebly in an international environment.
Previous knowledge of working with “Telenor Premium Switchboard” in an advantage
Confident user of MS Office
Confident user of Mac computers are an advantage
Excellent skills in English, written and spoken, other languages are an advantage

Duration & Location
The position is permanent with six months initial probationary period. Your work place will be situated in Lund, Sweden.
Start date
The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
