IES Årsta is looking for a Junior Club Manager. The purpose of the Junior Club Manager is to provide positive and engaging fritids activities for our students in line with the IES ethos of a calm learning environment, bilingualism and high academic expectations for all students. These activities are aimed at all our students in Grades 4-5 during break times and Grades 4 & 5 after school in ‘Junior Club’.

Role tasks of fritidspedagog/Junior Club teacher:



- Coordinate, organise and teach in our fritids ‘Junior Club’ every afternoon for Grades 4 & 5. 
- Organise and implement engaging, positive and structured fritids activities during break times for Grades 4-5. 
- Organise and resource the ‘fritids’ rastboden.
- Target specific classes and students to engage them in positive break time activities.
- Assist individual students throughout their school day, in the classroom and on breaks. 
- Assist/teach students in small groups in a classroom. 
- Support with reception/substitute teaching/break duties or other tasks as scheduled and delegated. Role tasks of Junior Club Manager:





- Budget responsibility
- Main contact for parents with newsletter etc
- Coordinate staff (and substitute when needed)
- Responsible for the year plan
- Responsible for mellis
- Collaborate with student care, teachers, dining hall staff etc for student information, food information etc.
