Job description: 

At International English School F-3, we see school and fritids/ after-school educare as one team. 

Our goal is to give all students a school day where all students are offered a variety of working methods, forms of expression and learning environments that integrate care and learning. In your role as a fritidspedagog you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for the entire student's time at school, and this means that a few hours a week are included for after-school care.

We are a F-9 school with newly renovated premises and together you must create the best learning environment for the group and the individual.

IES Skellefteå is a bilingual school where we work together, staff and students, in an international environment. You should therefore feel comfortable communicating with both colleagues, students and their families in English.

Who are you?

- You are a certified teacher in after-school care or a certified preschool teacher or have an alternative  educational degree that gives you authorization to work in after-school care. If you have previous experience from the profession or if you have worked as an after-school teacher/preschool teacher before, we see this as a bonus.
- Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills that enable you to independently lead and organize your work to create a study environment and a good learning environment for our students throughout the day.
- You have a good insight and knowledge of the school's/fritids curriculum and know how to effectively apply these in your daily work.
- You have knowledge of and share the International English School's values ​​and Ethos*
- You are passionate about development and a collegial way of working.
- You are genuinely interested in students' play, curiosity and interests and use these as a basis for your teaching. With us, you will get to participate in developing our teaching so that we create activities where students grow, are challenged and succeed.
- You are passionate about outdoor activities and recess as a tool in students' learning.
