Why we need you
So, we are growing. Quite a lot actually. With an aggressive hiring plan for the coming years, I'm now looking to hire our second TA hero to partner up with our current TA Manager. Given our outsized ambitions, we are convinced that we will only reach our vision if we have a world class team in place (where “world class” is not empty words, but what we mean). For this reason, recruitment is one of our top strategic priorities. To be clear, our TA function will be a fundamental part of our success.
What you'll do
Work with hiring managers to define profiles and set up interview processes.
Screen applicants who apply through our careers site and external job boards.
Source candidates – we proactively approach and engage passive talent.
Drive candidates through the process in a timely manner.
Act as a single point of contact for candidates throughout the process, providing the best candidate experience possible.
Your profile
Around 2 or 3 years experience recruiting for positions within accounting, marketing or commercial.
Experience sourcing candidates using LinkedIn, cold calling, and referrals.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates.
What about me?
In addition to being a close collaborator to you, I will be your direct leader, meaning you and I will be in contact a lot. As the VP People and leading the People Operations team, my main objective is to ensure that we have people and culture practices that support in taking Kognity to its vision of radically improved learning for the world's 1.5 billion students. With you we will be five people in the team and we collaborate, challenge and bounce ideas off each other on everything from long term people strategy and quarterly priorities to how to structure that google-slide presentation. I believe this collaboration makes us better, and it is important that you appreciate this way or working and see feedback as a change to grow and improve.
My leadership style is defined by trust and open dialogues. I prefer not to get into details of what you do (unless you ask me to!), and delegate responsibilities rather than tasks. I do think it is important to enjoy work, and aim to develop a close relationship with all my team members.
