Do you want to take part in the development of recycling strategies all over the world?Do you want to help packages made by Tetra Pak be recycled in every market?
The role of Commercial Operations - Environment is to support our business by defining and implementing an environmental strategy, developing supporting policies and ensuring implementation throughout Tetra Pak.
In your position as Recycling Programme Manager you will lead a small of recycling specialists in Lund, Sweden, coordinating recycling activities which take place all over the world.You will report to the Recycling Director, in Commercial Operations Environment.
You will liaise with the country environmental managers to validate short and long-term collection and recycling programmes, defining ambitions and setting targets.Your team monitors the implementation of these programmes, and collects and consolidates recycling data reported by the market companies, including financial resources.Since you will be in the focal point of planning recycling activities, you will also be best placed to help create synergies and facilitate sharing of case studies among markets.You will also be in a position to help developing recycling competences by leveraging on the central recycling expertise
Your team's main objectives are:
-Drive a process to establish collection recycling plans for all market companies, fulfilling the company's ambition.Plans must be done for the achievement of both short and long term goals;
-Set recycling index and financial targets, monitor implementation, and report progress and achievements;
-Facilitate exchange of best practices, and enable competence building;
-Support initiatives to improve design for environment, and to strengthen the technical solutions for recycling of the main components of Tetra Pak packaging.
Kvalifikationer
To be successful you need to be an excellent networker, mindful of cultural sensitivities, combined with solid project management skills.You have the necessary skills to lead and manage a small team of technical people, and are able to demonstrate experience with negotiation of targets and strategies.You have strong communication skills and capacity to prepare and deliver detailed presentations to senior management.Fluent written and spoken English is a must.
You must have a solid educational background in mechanical or industrial engineering, and at least 5 years experience managing people and projects.A good understanding of environment general concepts and experience working in the recycling value chain are a bonus.
