Job description
Har du några års erfarenhet i rollen som redovisningsekonom och har jobbat med ekonomiska flöden i internationell miljö? Vår kund är en välkänd global aktör som söker en redovisningsekonom för ett långt uppdrag.
Responsibilities
Support the Controllership team with ongoing projects to enhance existing process.
Represent and provide input on behalf of Controllership when discussing changes to processes or launching of new products.
Ensuring correct validation of the items in the balance sheet within the financial statement for each monthly closing.
Secure properly classification is used for the profit and loss statement by each month end close.
Ensure timely completion of statutory audits for the entities in scope. Plan and coordinate the local financial audits together with the external audit firm as well as internally with relevant stakeholders.
Assist with the preparation and finalisation of the annual reports, notes and cash flow statement for the Swedish entities and validate and certify the Norwegian annual report.
Be up to date with any changes within the local laws and regulations and ensure they are followed.
Collaborate cross functional to support and provide guidance for any local financial reporting requirements in new business decisions. Ensure sustainable processes and controls are put in place.
Drive improvement and automation within your own area and support the team upon request.
Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience (closing process, project work)
Fluency in Swedish and excellent in business English, oral and writing skills.
Experience with month-end close process (analysis, reconciliations)
Experience preparing annual reports in Sweden
Understanding of Norwegian GAAP with be preferable,
Comfortable in fast paced environment
Excellent organizational skills
Able to take the lead in projects and meetings
Experience with audit procedures and compliance requirements in Sweden and Norway
Knowledge in corporate income tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing.
Detail oriented, customer-focused, and have a reputation for getting things done. Moreover, you love operating in a dynamic and demanding environment, think critically, act quickly, and partner naturally.
Proficient in Excel
Extensive use of SAP & SAP BW and expert Excel and PowerPoint an advantage
Experience of VAT Reporting within EU is an advantage
