We are now seeking a Regional Access Manager (RAM) for the Central region (Uppsala-Örebro).

Alexandra Svanström is the manager who's building this new team. With her pragmatic and attentive leadership style, she will encourage, listen actively and develop your strengths within the team. The Regional Access Management team wants to be the best possible link between the health care system and AstraZeneca and bring valuable medicines to the patients. With an exciting pipeline ahead we're very proud of the trusting relationships that we've already built, both within Regional- and Market Access but also for AstraZeneca as a whole.

Your past or current title might be Key Account Manager (KAM), External Affairs Manager, Regional Key Account, Market Access, Public Affairs or Patient Access.

In the role of RAM you will:

* Successfully secure regional access for AZ existing and future medicines
* Developing strategies and plans to deliver regional recommendations (DFC listings), local policy shaping initiatives and projects
* Work collaboratively with National Market Access to support inclusion in regional knowledge management processes and for the customer's regional structures responsible for implementing these guidelines/lists.
* Interact with different regional partners/budget holders to raise the medical need for investing in new innovative drugs.

Typical Accountabilities

* Robust partner mapping and planning and strategic coordination with cross-functional partners to ensure strong implementation of partner plans
* Develop innovative new solutions to ensure patient access to medicines and continued local investments in innovative medicines.
* Proven understanding of local payer and political landscape and able to use local insights to map networks of regional partners/influencers/budget holders
* In collaboration with GA and MA partners, shape the regional Health Care Agenda and ensure TAs are prioritized therapy areas in the region

Essential requirements in order to succeed:

* Academic degree in relevant field
* Prior regional or national market access experience
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills
* Proven strategic and execution skills
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills
* Innovative problem solver with entrepreneurial capabilities
* Excellent knowledge in English and local language

Some more desirable requirements are:

* Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolism (CVRM), Respiratory and Immunology, Oncology area experience
* Prior health economics, government affairs, sales or marketing experience in the Pharmaceutical industry
* Strong business understanding of the Pharma industry
* Understanding of Health Economics
* Prior government affairs and/or policy shaping experience
