In our strive to continuously enhance performance we are setting up a new Global Demand Planning team within one of our major Business Areas with the aim to take Demand Planning to a next level.

We are looking for a Regional Demand Planner – Eastern Europe & UK to join us. This person can work partly remote and travel approximately 30 days per year. Our locations are based in Gothenburg (Sweden, HQ), Milton Keynes (UK) and Oldham (UK).
This position is responsible for all forecasting activities within the Operation Room Business Area for the UK, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. The Demand Planner is the integration point into the commercial organization and will lead the dialogue with key counterparts in Sales and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities include:
Develop seasonal demand forecasts and anticipate customers reactions
Interact with sales, marketing and finance to understand demand forecast drivers
Plan and drive monthly forecast meetings with all stakeholders
Work with customers, sales and supply chain management to improve forecast accuracy
Closely cooperate with and provide input to the Supply Chain Planning organization to safeguard best possible product availability
Update sales about supply constraints, assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities
Coordinate and communicate action plans
Identify areas of improvements in Mölnlycke’s Business Management process, recommend actions
Mentor and train other planners and stakeholder as needed
Qualifications & Experience
A business or technical degree or equivalent
Extensive experience from analyzing data to enhance the demand planning activities
Strong demand planning and/or supply planning experience, ideally in medical industry
Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods
Well versed in translating data and customer insights into business advice
Demand planning tool experience (Kinaxis, Demantra, SAP, or similar)
Experienced user of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerBI and PowerPoint)
Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
Ability to engage with the market and customers
A strong desire to impact the business through data-science techniques
The job requires about 30 days per year of travel time, mainly within Europe
Proficiency in English language
