Regional Insurance Manager - Europe

Arbetsbeskrivning

At Volvo Financial Services, we are transforming together to shape the world we want to live in. As the captive finance arm of the Volvo Group, VFS delivers innovative, responsive financial solutions that fit the way businesses work today, as well as how they will work in the future. Through our dedication to innovation, we support our customers in the adoption of sustainable transport and equipment solutions. We are knowledgeable, yet approachable, and customers can always count on us. We also embrace new ideas and challenge the status quo, believing that innovation is driven by a willingness to change to stay ahead and find smart ways to create new solutions to help our customers win.
Welcome to the new world of connected insurance. Imagine being able to remotely monitor how a truck or construction machine is being used, for how long, where, and any number of other metrics – and then package an insurance policy that exactly mirrors the risks involved. That’s the journey VFS is embarking upon – and we need a strategic thinker and action-orientated tech-friendly leader to champion the evolution of these products and services, from start-up to mass market adoption.
The Regional Insurance Manager – Europe, will lead VFS’s strategy into the world of data-driven insurance services. This role requires a rare combination of experience in insurance, technology, and risk management – and understanding the business opportunities that these elements offer when combined.
The successful tech-savvy candidate will manage the integration of third-party technology and build a business model around it that is robust, one that can scale into other areas of the Volvo Group, internationally. The role demands an entrepreneurial mindset, and encompasses business development, strategy, negotiation, and forging strategic partnerships. You will be part of a global and diverse team of trusted financial experts in the transportation and equipment industry whose passion is to cultivate customer relationships.
This position is part of VFS Global Headquarters and reports to the VP Insurance Services. The locations for this role will be a VFS hub in either Gothenburg, Sweden or Ismaning, Germany.
