Global Customer Service is a unit within Volvo Car Corporation, responsible for the global aftermarket business, development and distribution of genuine parts, service- and repair methods and accessories. Our ambition is to be the most desired provider of parts, accessories and service to our Volvo dealers and customers and thereby contribute to creating the most exciting car experience for the customer. Our head office is located in Gothenburg with 1200 employees.
The logistics function within Global Customer Service is responsible for the procurement, storage and distribution of spare parts and accessories to VCC’s customers throughout the world. This includes operational control of all Volvo-owned parts inventory, warehouse management and transportation, as well as the long-term development of the global logistics process.
Within Part Supply & Logistics we are now looking for a Regional Logistic Manager.
What will you do
The role includes establishing and following up the CPI for warehousing and transport operations in the region. If deviations are initiated and follow up corrective measures.
You will also be responsible for monitoring and controlling the logistical operating costs (warehousing & transport), including providing input to the budget and forecast, as well as striving to find continuous improvements in the supply chain.
You will ensure that communication, coordination and processes are followed and developed between national sales companies, importers' XDC operations (own warehouse or 3PL) and Parts Supply & Logistics.
and ensure that Parts Supply & Logistics performs the agreed KPIs and support under the Logistic Operational Agreement with markets in the region.
In the role, you work as a project manager and sub-project manager in various projects in the area, and will be responsible for starting development activities including logistics studies in the region.
Do you fit the profile?
You have a master's degree with a logistics focus or similar experience.
You possess excellent communication skills in English, in both speech and writing, other languages are meritorious.
We want you to have experience from aftermarket logistics, warehousing technology and transport management, as well as experience from commercial negotiations and legal knowledge.
You are an advanced Excel user with solid experience from leading projects, with a
strong ability to work together.
Strong business acumen, analytical ability and result-oriented and is willing to travel, about 30-50 days a year.
