Are you passionate about advancing electrification and battery technologies? At Epiroc, we're seeking a Regional Product Specialist to help drive our mission of delivering innovative, sustainable solutions across the Nordics & Baltics aftermarket division. In this role you'll play a vital part in accelerating this transformation. With your technical expertise in electrification and drive for continuous improvement, you’ll work alongside passionate colleagues to deliver cutting-edge solutions that shape the future of our business.
Your mission
As Regional Product Specialist, your expertise in battery systems and electrification will be essential to supporting our service enhancements and the successful rollout of new technology. You’ll work closely with both internal teams and customers to ensure smooth technical operations and continuous product improvements that align with Epiroc’s vision of a cleaner, more efficient future. You’ll be the go-to expert for resolving complex technical issues in your area, leading product training sessions, and ensuring high-quality service operations.
In this role, your main tasks include to:
* Promote safety in all activities and foster a positive, inclusive environment.
* Drive continuous product development by working closely with production companies and customers.
* Lead technical training sessions, sharing knowledge with teams internally and externally.
* Support the rollout of new technology projects in collaboration with central and local teams.
* Monitor and analyze fleet performance, using insights to drive improvements.
* Act as a key technical contact, supporting service operations and resolving complex field cases.
* Partner with the Epiroc Academy to support training initiatives and develop training tools.
* Ensure smooth information flow and collaboration across technical support functions.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with:
* Electromechanical expertise: You have a few years of experience in electromechanics, backed by a relevant education (e.g. electrical engineering).
* Software & Data Analytics: You understand software systems and have experience analyzing data. Ideally, you have worked with battery systems or have been involved in their development.
* Electrification Knowledge: You are familiar with electrification concepts, including battery applications and charging systems.
* Managerial & Administrative Skills: You are comfortable with change management, influencing decisions, and handling reporting tasks.
* Language skills: Fluency in Swedish and English is required.
* Drive: You take initiative and are motivated to continuously improve.
* Communication: You are a skilled communicator with a deep technical understanding of products and services.
* Eye for detail: You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
* Collaboration & ownership: You enjoy working in a team and thrive in a role where you can share your expertise with others. Your ability to collaborate across different functions and your focus on continuous improvement will be critical to your success in this position.
Location and travel
This position will be placed at a Swedish Epiroc office in one of the following locations: Örebro, Västerås, Gothenburg, Slagsta, Skellefteå, Kiruna or Gällivare. Travel will be required to some extent.
