Nordic QHSE Manager
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a QHSE Manager to join us to develop our QHSE function across the Nordics. The role is either based in Stockholm, Oslo, or Copenhagen.
We are seeking a profile with excellent motivational and influencing skills who can contribute effectively and on equal terms across all business activities. The successful candidate will be responsible to act as the focal point for specialist QHSE expertise in the Enterprise Accounts Nordics Region and to understand the requirements, expectations, and duties incumbent on the role of the statutorily appointed Competent Person and ensure the execution of those duties.
The primary tasks of the position are:
* To develop, implement, manage, and review the QHSE Plan for EA Nordics inn conjunction with the QHSE Director (including project delivery) in line with the Enterprise Accounts strategic QHSE Plan.
* To include embedding of operational ownership of risk and risk mitigation strategies.
* To ensure local in-country statutory requirements as they relate to QHSE are fully understood and appropriately communicated to the business (Enterprise Accounts only).
* To provide guidance and practical expertise on Health, Safety and Environmental issues in addition to those of Quality, ensuring there is appropriate day-to-day support and guidance to both internal and external customers.
* To ensure compliance with all business wide policy and strategy through QHSE Management System
* Audits, embedding the overall Audit Assurance Programme across the Region, monitoring the same for effectiveness.
* To lead and support initiatives and best practice activities in all areas of QHSE Management.
To be successful in the position, we expect you to:
* Have specialist and strategic higher managerial experience in Health, Safety, Quality, and
* Environmental Management. A practical and demonstrable knowledge of liaising with
* enforcement agency / insurers.
* Risk Management strategy development and implementation.
* Development and implementation of policy and process.
* Environmental risk and 'resource' evaluation / management.
* Have a high level of energy, be self-starters, confident and stable in manner, and be able to
* prioritise and work on a range of activities within a high-pressure environment.
* Fluent in either Swedish, Danish or Norwegian and English.
