Serials Solutions is looking for a Regional Sales Manager, recruitment, Stockholm Company presentation: Serials Solutions is the global leader in E-Resource Access and Management Services, with about 15 000 employee worldwide, providing complete and integrated services, fast implementation, easy customization and extraordinary support for libraries everywhere.Today, Serials Solutions provides world-class software services for libraries of all types and in all languages.All Serials Solutions 360 services are founded on the authoritative Serials Solutions KnowledgeWorks knowledgebase, and include 360 Core access and management features.For more information about the company please visit: www.serialssolutions.com.Work description: Academic Work is now on behalf of Serials Solutions looking for a Regional Sales Manager placed in Stockholm, Sweden.The company do not have any office in Sweden but the Regional Sales Manager will report to the International Sales Director at the Head Office in Cambridge, England.The candidate will also work closely with a team of 13 members at the Head Office and with the Library Support Specialists in Cambridge, who will back up the customers with technical support.The candidate will travel approximately three days per week within the region Eastern and Northern Europe.The Regional Sales Manager will: * Develop existing business relationship and create new business opportunities within the region Eastern and Northern Europe * Manage and develop distributor relationships * Plan and implement campaigns within the region as part of the company marketing plan * Make regular face to face and telephone contact with existing and potential customers * Demonstrate company products to existing and potential customers * Attend conferences, exhibitions and seminars within the region * Keep up to date with all developments in the target industry To successfully manage the role it is important that the candidate is able to travel and have the ability to work remotely and independently. Qualifications: Theoretical skills Bachelor degree is required (any subject) Driving licence is required Practical skills Several years of proven sales experience, ideally in the same industry.Contacts in the academic world are desirable but not required.Proven technology/software sales experience at senior level Computer literacy and familiarity with Windows software Previous experience within Publishing, especially electronic publishing is desirable but not required.Foreign languages Advanced knowledge in both English and Swedish, written and spoken, is a requirement.A second language relevant to the territory is desirable but not required.
