As our new Regional Sales Manager Europe, Professional Lighting, you will play an important part in our continued growth and directly contribute to our continued success. You will be part of our Lighting Business Area and be handed responsibility for your own sales territory within Europe. The position is based in our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden, and the position reports directly to our Business Area Manager.
We are seeking an individual who is a proven sales leader with a relentless drive for success to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and be able to promote our vision, as well as collaborate with their teammates to generate extraordinary growth. This individual will be a fierce advocate for our clients and our brand. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the development and growth of a client base through strategic outside sales activity. This includes prospecting for new accounts in the defined territory, developing consultative relationships with clients, and managing ongoing account and territory activity. Responsibilities
• Cultivate and expand business with our existing lighting manufacturers and customer base within the assigned territory
• Continually identifying and developing new opportunities through development of strong customer relationships
• Prepare sales action plans to manage customer opportunities as well as to prioritize growth opportunities
• Prepare sales forecasts based on input from assigned and prospect customers
• Evaluate and report on competition activity within the territory
• Represent the company at various sales meetings, training sessions or events to promote the company, as required
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we believe you need to have experience from a similar role and thrive working independently towards high goals. You will handle the entire sales process independently and you must be confident in C-level discussions and negotiations. As we always strive for creating long-term business relationships with our customers, we are looking for someone who is friendly, outgoing, and professional always.
Also, you need to have good business sense, be able to think outside the box and you would like to help customers develop their business. You find it easy to understand how LumenRadio’s technology can create new opportunities and value for the customer.
• 5+ years’ experience in lighting industry sales to Fortune 500/Global 1000 companies
• BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Track record of success consistently exceeding overall goals
• Entrepreneurial drive and ability to sell creative solutions into new markets and segments
• Confidence and track record building and managing your own sales territory
• Comfortable calling at the senior executive level
• Highly effective written, presentation, and closing skills
• Dynamic, high-energy self-starter
• Strategic planning and execution skills
Competencies
• Solid strategic capabilities with deep commercial understanding and deal-making capabilities
• Able to remain professionally and keep a motivated mindset when needed
• Effective communicator and an active listener
• Good collaborator – willing to learn and develop, but still attain high integrity and credibility
• Fluent in English, other languages are beneficial
A plus if you have:
• Experience from a tech organization.
• Experience from working in a company with business operations in multiple countries.
• Knowledge within business administration.
