Arbetsbeskrivning
Within Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions, we’re passionate about development and new technology – we drive important shifts and we’re advancing the world through our engineering. Always aiming to offer the best possible experience for our customers is a mission that takes commitment, but as an industry leader we settle for nothing less than excellence in everything we do.
Right now, we’re looking for a visionary and organized Regional Supply Chain Planner for the EMEA/CIS region. Joining our team as part of the Stationary Crushing & Screening division, you take lead in ensuring an optimized balance of services and net working capital that also meet our business targets. This is a great job if you wish to develop a world class supply chain management, while enhancing your own strategic planning skills and building an interesting network spread across the globe.
The job
In this position - where analytics, collaboration and networks are keys - you interact within our sales teams in the EMEA/CIS region to drive sales and ensure a successful operations planning process. Your aim is to enable us to both carry out production plans and to forecast and evaluate relevant stock levels at our warehouses around the region. You spot trends and analyze data in a state-of-the-art planning tool, and you undertake weekly operational plans with consideration to KPIs such as fill rate, forecast accuracy, warehouse inventory levels and net working capital.
You interact with the frontline in demand planning, review inventory parameters and balance stock levels with our backline and other sales regions. To stay on top of our game, you also drive and participate in improvements and best practices in our systems, processes and ways of working.
This position is based at our headquarters in Svedala – a fast and easy commute from surrounding cities such as Malmö, Lund and Ystad, and with our site located just across from the train station. Global travel is normally included in the job as you’re visiting customers and sales areas to further understand the needs of our business.
About you
We’re looking for someone with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Industrial Economy, and a core understanding of supply chain management. A few years’ experience from working in the field is valued, but we’re also open to applications from recent graduates with the right skills, personality and attitude. You have an analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to understand, plan and forecast numbers and statistics. In addition, you thrive on identifying problems and finding the best possible solutions, and you embrace improvements by being creative and taking new initiatives.
As a natural collaborator with great communication abilities, you easily build and maintain trust within your networks, and you both inspire and challenge your stakeholders in performing accurate reporting and planning. Skills in Logility Voyager Planning is a plus, but you do have to be an advanced user of Excel. We operate in a global setting, which calls for fluency in both verbal and written English, while knowledge of Swedish is beneficial from a social point of view.
