We are now looking for a new colleague and Regional Tolling Manager EMEA for the existing Tolling (Contract Manufacturing) in the region. You will
Tolling augments Nouryon’s manufacturing footprint by supporting in capacity and capability availability as well as regional manufacturing footprint. As it is an integral function for Nouryon, a global tolling organization has been put in place to ensure a cohesive strategy and approach towards tolling. In this role, you will be the owner and executor of tolling strategy, but also the key contact point for the tollers and act as Nouryon’s representative when managing relationships, contracts, price negotiations and performance management. Your areas of responsibility will cover strategic oversight, toller management, liaison & project support and improvements.
Some of the tasks will be to:
- develop, execute and maintain regional tolling strategy to meet existing and future tolling needs for the business
- maintain good insight into the tolling capability and capacity in the market as well as to keep abreast of market changes that can impact tolling
- maintain continuous improvement plans for the tolling network, focusing on performance improvement, capacity improvement as well as cost optimization
- optimize the Tolling supply chain as well as operational costs to deliver value to the business
- identify and lead projects that help bring improvements in performance and costs related to tolling operations
You are
We are looking for a person with high social competence, high customer focus and the ability to build successful and long-term relationships. You should be confident in your own expertise and deliver results while maintaining a high quality in your work. The ability to work efficiently and to know how to prioritize in the daily work is also important. We also value characteristics and attributes such as being self-driven, result oriented and the ability to break down complexities and to be comfortable with uncertainties.
A Bachelor’s Bachelor’s Degree in SCM, Logistics or Materials Management is needed for this position. We expect you to have at least 5 years’ experience in at least two of following areas; planning, supply chain, procurement and production. One (1+) year in Chemical Manufacturing is preferred. Experience of materials management and tolling is of course important, such as proven working knowledge of strategic sourcing, contracts management, negotiations, supplier management and operations planning. It is a plus if you have CPIM and Six Sigma Certifications, and proven working knowledge of material usage, transportation, logistics and planning systems. This position requires traveling within Europe.
