Region Östergötland is the main health care provider in Östergötland county with approximately 13000 employees, 11600 of which in healthcare. Three hospitals and 43 primary care centers are provided for the general population, as well as 40 public dental clinics. The university hospital in Linköping serves the southeastern part of Sweden with 1.2 million inhabitants.

Job description
We are looking for both general nurses as well as specialized nurses for a broad variety of specialties to our three hospitals.
As a general nurse, you take responsibility for ensuring that medical prescriptions are completed and that patients receive the care they need. You supervise new employees and students and often act as supervisor. You also have a lot of contact with the patient´s relatives.
The position as a nurse includes working shifts (evenings, nights and weekends).
Requirements
Registered nurse within the EU/EEA
If applicable, specialty registered nurse
Basic computer skills in Microsoft office
English and Swedish language skills
Personal characteristics
You have a positive attitude, a good cooperative ability and can handle different situations in a constructive way. You enjoy working in teams with different professions.
Terms of employment
Before moving to Sweden you need to reach a certain level in the Swedish language and have your nurse training recognized by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare https://legitimation.socialstyrelsen.se/en/licence-application/.
Your employment will start with a clinical trial and introduction period, combined with further language studies. If the trial period will be proved satisfactory and you demonstrate required skills recognized by the County Council of Östergötland, it will automatically turn into a permanent employment.
All contracts follow local and national collective agreements.
Salary:
Nurses general care: From 2500 EUR . Salary are set individually depending on your qualification and experience
Specialist nurse: From 2600 EUR . Salary are set individually depending on your qualification and experience
