Will this be your challenge?You will be accountable for the coordination of all seed regulatory matters across the Seeds & Traits and Vegetables Divisions, and the management of the variety registration team of Monsanto's Vegetable Division.You will drive seed regulatory policy and anticipate changes in regulatory requirements in the EU, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.This includes delivering variety registrations in accordance with business strategy, applying due diligence processes in the regulatory assessment of novel plant varieties, and ensuring regulatory compliance in the context of seed labeling, seed movement and the marketing of plant varieties.You will provide regulatory support to Monsanto's vegetable product development pipeline and you will be responsible for issues management and incident response.You will represent Monsanto on relevant industry associations and work closely with an integrated team of highly motivated colleagues, while establishing a broad network of internal contacts internationally.You will report to the Regulatory Affairs Lead for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Have you the key skills we are looking for?You have a Life Sciences degree in plant breeding, plant sciences or related field, probably with the advantage of relevant experience in the seed industry, plant variety registration, plant breeding, or the regulation of novel plants and their products.Your spoken and written English are of a high standard.You may also have the advantage of being multilingual, with good cross-cultural awareness.You are a good people manager and team-player with the proven ability to deliver results in a multi-disciplinary, team-based working environment.You are known to be well organized and to pay attention to procedures and details and you have strong IT skills.
