What you’ll do:
To Succeed with our mission, you need to be a strong collaborative person who will align with our internal and external stakeholders, identify, align, and coordinate VCSB’s affecting regulatory compliance and legal requirements. The Regulatory and Compliance expert coordinates and works closely with teams at VCSB, PS&L, and Regulatory Affairs and carries in prerequisites, updates and changes from a regulatory perspective for the VCSB organization. You will carry the responsibility of communicating requirements for optimal compliance within the operations, internally and towards R&D, PS&L, Procurement and possible other Business units. 
In your daily work you will represent the company in regulatory and compliance matters, both internal as external, and work in close collaboration with the Regulatory Champion. You will introduce and update current and future legal requirements to VCSB and continuously clarify for VCSB of changes within the regulatory playing field. You will coordinate initiatives and requirements to create VCSB’s regulatory compliance and align regulatory compliance within the VCSB organization. You will facilitate compliance checkpoints and strategic development exercises to enforce VCSB upstream and also provide support in solving regulatory inquiries affecting VCSB, when escalated from teams in VCSB and PS&L.
You and your skills:
We believe you have a BSc or a Master’s degree in Engineering, Law or relevant experience within the area. You should have several years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the automotive industry. You have leadership experience and a great ability to read and interpret law, regulations, and authority communications. You have good knowledge about Regulatory and compliance processes, and demonstrate a strong understanding of development processes and agile methodologies. Lastly, you are fluent in English, spoken and written.
