Kambi is a leading B2B provider of premium sports betting services for online and retail gambling operators. Kambi’s Global Legal Team ensures that the company meets all the applicable regulatory requirements, improves internal compliance procedures, and maintains a robust internal audit function. We are now looking to strengthen our team with two Regulatory Compliance Counsels who will be based in Stockholm.
In this role you will work closely with various business units such as IT Operations, Sportsbook Operations, Product and Business Development to identify areas of the business where there is a risk of non-compliance and help to develop processes, policies, and procedures to reduce the risk.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and understand Kambi’s gaming license requirements to ensure they are being met in full;
• Provide expert advice on specific and complex gaming matters in countries of interest;
• Examine and identify the risk areas across the business and mitigate risks ensuring full compliance with all applicable regulations, legislation, company policies and best practice;
• Contribute to robust and effective compliance controls within the organization, and develop a culture of compliance through the business
• Assist in the gathering of internal information and requirements in response to regulatory requests;
• Prepare, produce, write, review, keep track of, and ensure consistency of regular reporting submitted by/to gaming authorities;
• Support internal investigation of compliance issues, including internal audits of an ISMS that conforms to ISO 27001;
• Coordinate and work with test laboratories across licensed jurisdictions and other international markets in order to ensure system’s compliance;
• Support the audit of Anti Money Laundering and data protection processes;
• Draft, negotiate and review contractual agreements relating to commercial matters, insurance, corporate, compliance policies and other company business activities;
Your skills and experience:
• Qualified Lawyer (0-1 PQE)
• Literate and fluent in English; other European languages also useful.
• Curiosity with a keenness to innovate, improve processes and drive efficiencies.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
