Who We Are
Nasdaq is looking for a Regulatory Compliance Specialist – to join our Listing Qualifications team in Stockholm within the Surveillance organization. The Surveillance organization supervises issuers' and trading participants' compliance with the Exchange rules and other relevant regulations. As a regulatory function responsible for enforcement, we must possess detailed knowledge and understanding of the regulation and related practices that apply to listed companies and act with the highest integrity. Our fundamental objective is to ensure that the market's confidence in Nasdaq, our needs, and the securities market, in general, is maintained.
The Listing Qualifications team is the gatekeeper for any company looking to list on the Nasdaq Stockholm Exchange. The team handles the application process for admission to trading all product types (shares, bonds, ETPs, etc.) on our markets by checking that issuers and instruments meet the quality standards required by Nasdaq and underlying legislation.
What You Will Do
You will be part of a small and specialized Listing Qualifications team within Nasdaq's Surveillance organization, assessing listing applications to ensure they meet the quality standards required by Nasdaq. External communication of Nasdaq's rules and processes, through rulebooks, guidelines, and general information to the market, is also a crucial part of the Listing Qualifications team's work.
The work of the Listings Qualifications team includes leading contact with companies and their advisors, close cooperation with the commercial side of Nasdaq, and requires a high level of integrity. The Listings Qualifications team is based in Stockholm and is part of Nasdaq's broader European Surveillance function. Nasdaq is an international company, and partnership with Nasdaq colleagues in other countries is a crucial aspect of the job.
