Regulatory Expert in Food Packaging

We are looking for a Regulatory Expert in Food Packaging for our client in Lund.


Your responsibilities/activities:
Assess and approve food contact materials supplied globally by our customers to ensure compliance with current and future requirements of European, US and Chinese food contact materials legislation
Support development projects and Supply Chain activities by assessing the safety of new parts intended to come into contact with food and verifying their compliance with EU, US and Chinese food contact materials legislation.
Build up and maintain relevant supporting documentation for assessments and approvals.
Stay current with regulatory developments for food contact materials in the EU, US and China.
Be a speaking partner for all questions related to chemical safety of food contact materials for Tetra Pak filling equipment – internally and externally.

Education and experience:
Educational background in food chemistry, chemistry or similar scientific area of expertise, PhD preferred.
Knowledge of food contact law preferred.
Know-how in regulatory toxicology.
Fluent in English (written and conversational).
Professional use of MS Office.
Willingness to travel.

Start: Flexible start date, preferably ASAP
Duration: 2022.12.31 with Extension possibility
