We are Fatshark
We are an independent Swedish game development studio located in Södermalm, Stockholm. With about 100 experienced and skilled employees we have worked as contractors for a number of AAA projects, as well as developed titles with publishers and independently for both consoles and PC. Our most recent game is the critically acclaimed title Warhammer: Vermintide 2. We tackle every project, genre and setting with enthusiasm, professionalism and a cup of coffee.
The role
As a release manager at Fatshark you will be responsible for managing the release schedule for their given set of releases. You will work closely with our producer(s), developers and QA in all aspects of game production and monitor the day to day live services.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for the project releases that are assigned to you. Together with our producers, you will set the long term release plans and make sure that the development progress of the product sticks to the release schedule.
The role requires you to have a great understanding of game development and a knack for anticipating and communicating potential bottlenecks in production.
To achieve a successful release of a product, you will need to be able to make strategic project plans, implement benchmarks to ensure quality & studio alignment in the release and seek out other opportunities that can improve our release management process.

Responsibilities
Setting up and managing our release branches
Develop a deep understanding for what content belongs to what release by coordinating with management and the development team
Coordinate and maintain the long-term release schedule for the studio, in coordination with external partners
Providing reports of game health by tracking, reporting and analyzing the live product by using available metrics
Be responsible for releasing the product to our players by coordinating with all key stakeholders. Maintaining stakeholder communication by informing and consulting on relevant items during the whole release process
Identify, maintain and constantly improve our release processes by finding and removing impediments hindering release goals and dates
Manage the build environment by monitoring build health and delivering builds for every day testing and releases
Coordinate what is communicated to our players for each release by compiling content differences and updates via patch notes
Required qualifications
2+ years of game industry work experience, doing release management on PC/Console
Ability to manage multiple complex releases at the same time
Deep understanding of all aspects of game release functions and forms
Strong experience in managing releases, live services, and games as a service across multiple client platforms
A problem solver - identify and fix bottlenecks, as well as clearing roadblocks both on a day-to-day basis as well as long term for the project teams
Accustomed to the usage of project management tools, production methodologies, and great communication skills to maintain tight schedules and high standards of quality
Bonus qualifications
