Release Manager

The position
Avalanche Studios Group is looking for a Release Manager to work closely with the self-published game teams to oversee the delivery and release of our titles and post-launch releases.

As a game studio, Avalanche Studios strives to create compelling, open-ended, exploration-driven solutions to the variety of challenges that we and our partners face. As an Avalancher, you can expect to work in an atmosphere where you are provided with a tool set to solve any tasks set before you with confidence.

The Release Manager will work directly with game team leads and Product Owners. You will be involved with improving our games submissions processes for continuous and stable releases, using in-studio tools and technology. You would be acting as the bridge between the development teams and First Party partners.

Responsibilities and expectations :

- Primary point of contact for First Party partners
- Have experience with First Party submission and delivery processes
- Be familiar with compliance requirements of Global Age Rating Boards
- Consult on release roadmaps and strategies
- Demonstrate proficiency in learning new technical skill sets
- Comfortable with routine tasks
- Have knowledge of CVAA,COPPA,GDPR and similar guidelines
- Comfortable with speaking/reading/writing the English language as a primary form of communication


Bonus points:

- Play games and/or consume gaming media as a hobby
- Strong communication skills; Comfortable handling conversational opposition
- Capable of saying no with tact
- Confident working independently
- JIRA/Confluence, Hansoft, Miro experience
- Previous experience in the gaming industry ( as a Release Manager, QA or Compliance QA, Producer)
