Volvo Autonomous Solutions is developing the first generation of Self-Driving vehicles, which will redefine the commercial transport solutions that most of us rely on every day. Global Technology Area Verification & Validation – GTA V&V is driving several major activities within Autonomous Driving development chain including AD Integration, Verification & Validation, System Integration, Data Analytics and Release Management.


Release Management area within GTA V&V is driving innovative Release/Configuration Management practices to ensure timely delivery of our future Automated Driving solutions with right quality. The tools used are GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, DockerHub etc., You’ll work alongside talented group of colleagues who respect each other’s differences and seek to understand fresh perspectives.


We are going through a major growth to become the world leading Autonomous Driving Verification & Validation organization. As a part of this fantastic journey, we are now in need of several Release Managers, with the drive and passion to embrace this possibility with an attitude of always striving to be the best in the world whatever you do.


The positions will be in Gothenburg, Sweden.


WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER
As Release Manager, you will join the development leadership team and be responsible to both define release plans for upcoming releases and manage the end-to-end release workflows and detailed steps. In an agile (Scrum) context you will drive development and implementation of Release/Configuration Management practices that embrace the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) philosophy. By creating new Release Management Dashboards and related tools you will be interface between Product Management and Product Development during the release planning and roadmap definition process. You will also work closely with the CI/CD and V&V team to increase the amount of automated testing done for each build. You will close the loop by overseeing post release tasks to ensure adherence to quality control processes.

Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience
Documented experience as Release / Configuration Manager
Experience as SW Developer
Knowledge in Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline process
