About the position
As Release Manager at E.ON Sweden, you will own our release management lifecycle. This includes scheduling, coordinating and managing releases across multiple applications in our IT landscape. Besides continuously bringing new functionality required by our business colleagues, releases will include patches, security improvements and hardware upgrades.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Oversee release processes for code through development, test, and production environments.
* Collaborate closely with a Delivery Team Lead, QA Manager, developers, and testers to ensure well-described and understood release processes.
* Identify risks and resolve issues affecting release scope, schedule, and quality.
* Be in charge of our tooling strategy, staying updated on the latest tools and methods.
* Advocate for developer-friendly CI/CD tools with a focus on automation and built-in quality gates.
* Represent E.ON locally in utilizing a central portfolio of agile development tools used across different countries.


Your profile
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

* Academic background in a technology-related field.
* A few years of release management experience.
* Several years of experience in an IT operations environment.
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion.
* Training in project management practices is preferable but not a prerequisite.
