Release Manager to Group Functions IT, Copenhagen or Stockholm

Change & Deploy is a team in our IT Transition section improving three key processes Config, Release and Change Management.  
 
Out team interacts with all areas of Group Functions IT and Business to be part of the vehicle for successfully transitioning changes through our pre-production and production systems.  
 
  The position we offer

As Release Manager you will coordinate the integration of various components into release packages for verification in our pre-production environment and finally deployment into production.  
 
You will: 
 
- Plan, coordinate and follow up on minor and major releases.  
- Identify priorities, dependencies, and risks for the release.  
- Confirm the release deployment plan is followed and that all release deliverables have been completed in line with the release dates and deadlines.  
- Manage release notes, approvals, communications, contact lists and pre and post-release verification activities.  
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the process.  
- Actively improve our ways of working by collecting feedback (e.g. covering process flow, available instructions, tools and training) and work with improvements.  
- Follow up on KPI’s for the process and report to Process Manager.  
  The qualifications you need

You are service minded and capable of understanding the change agenda for different business areas.  
 
You have:  
 
- Minimum 2 years of experience as team member in IT Service Organization, working with Release & Deployment.
- Knowledge in Remedy or another IT Service management tool.  
- Experience in working within financial sector is a plus, but not a pre-requisite.  
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion.  
- Excellent communication skills in English – listening, verbal and written.  
- ITIL Foundation certificate.
