You will be part of the product group HVDC within the Hitachi ABB Power Grids in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. As the Release Train Engineer in our SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) organization you will have the opportunity to work in a global environment and together with cross-functional teams securing deliverables within R&D.
Your responsibilities
In this role as Release Train Engineer you will coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets
You will also help manage risks and dependencies
Escalate and track impediments
Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
Facilitate PI Planning readiness by fostering a Continuous Exploration process which drives the synthesis of a Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs, and through Pre- and Post-PI Planning meetings
Facilitate the PI planning event, System Demos and Solution Demos
Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assess the agility level of the ART Train and help them improve
Your background
To be successful in this role we think that you have:
Leadership, influencing and motivational skills
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Ability to work in multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural teams
Facilitation and collaboration skills to support effective team events
Previously managed project or program level initiatives
Advanced understanding of agile, lean, theory of constraints and DevOps
Experience with agile software development methodologies required, preferably in a large scale environment
Certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master, PM/PO, PMI ACP, SAFe SA or SAFe SPC) preferred
