Autonomous Transport Solutions at Scania is one of the key areas in Scania strategy “driving the shift”. At Autonomous Systems we work with enabling solutions within the area of Onboard and offboard systems, managing both autonomous driving of the vehicle and controlling/supervision via our cloud based control tower.

The department Autonomous systems is working inspired by SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and is looking for a Release Train Engineer to help us drive one of our Value Creation Teams (VCT).  A VCT is a team of teams creating solutions or part of a solution with a shared value pull.

What do we offer
You will have a key role in running and developing the work in the VCT for Hub-to-hub development with partner. The three main roles driving the VCT are Product Management, System Architect and the Release Train Engineer.

The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a servant leader and coach for the Value Creation Teams. The RTE’s major responsibilities are to lead and monitor the progress in the VCT, facilitate demands and processes to assist the teams in delivering value.  RTEs communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risks and drive improvements relentlessly.

Who you are
We are looking for you who are inspired by challenging objectives. A project manager or engineer with leader ambitions and drive who undertake an agile role. You enjoy communicating with engineers on a daily basis. Structuring information flows, improve ways of working, facilitate meetings as well as coaching teams is easy for you. Agile development, continuous deployment and integration is well known to you. You take responsibility for what you do and solve issues that come up.

You have a higher education with at least 5 years’ experience from a technical area preferably software development. Knowledge of connectivity and/or the electrical system at Scania is a huge advantage. Communicating in English and Swedish is easy for you.
