Release Train Engineer @ eART Safe Vehicle Automation
We are looking for a Release Train Engineer to join the Safe Vehicle Automation eART leadership team!
Who we are
We are responsible for providing methods, tools, infrastructure, and environments that enable Safe Vehicle Automation deliveries for AD & Pilot Assist, ADAS, Vehicle Energy & Motion Control and Protective Safety with high quality, based on DevOps methodology and culture.
The ART belongs to Product Stream Safe Vehicle Automation (SVA), consists of about 100 engineers, and is structured in one SW Factory with focus on HIL, SIL and CI and one Data Factory with focus on Data Collection & Prototype Build and Data Infrastructure.
What you will do
Your responsibility will be to empower and energize the people of the teams. Together with the Product Manager (PM), you will coach the team using agile practices with focus on deliveries, flow and take lead in continuous improvements.
You will manage and optimize the flow by collaborating with the Scrum Masters, bring clarity and transparency in understanding our development performance and ensure a backlog-driven development. You will motivate and coach leaders, teams and Scrum Masters in agile practices and ways of thinking to enhance flow and transparency. You will also manage risks and dependencies, escalate, and track impediments, and facilitate PI-planning events including ART demos.
Who you are
You are a structured, inclusive, communicative, collaborative and team-oriented leader with a high customer focus. You are curious, takes initiative rather than waiting for direction, see the opportunities in setting direction, and adjust when needed.
You probably have a university degree within engineering or similar, and solid experience from automotive development or related technical field. Strong people management, collaboration and communication skills are essential when working in a diverse and international setting. You can demonstrate experience in building strong stakeholder relationships. You believe in empowering people to build high performing teams.
