Release Train Engineer for Chassis Functionality Flow

Release Train Engineer for Chassis Functionality Flow

Arbetsbeskrivning

Scania is undergoing a transformation to meet the forces of technological, environmental, and social change in the world. Facing an increasingly unpredictable environment demands new – improved and more flexible – ways of working.

The transformation journey has begun and is accelerating throughout the whole Scania organization. We are now looking for a Release Train Engineer with good communication skills and a vision to build self-managing teams. Are you the leader we are looking for? Then take this opportunity to join us on this exciting journey!

We are…

… nine teams, working closely together, developing systems and functions within steering, braking, air management, tire pressure monitoring, suspension, and chassis management. The majority of the teams belong to the Embedded System department and we are highly involved in the development of sustainable, electrified, and autonomous transport solutions. Our responsibility covers the entire chain from pre-development to managing field quality issues.

You will…

… play a key role in facilitating a framework enabling the teams themselves to drive continuous improvement and development. As a leader, you provide guidance, knowledge, and incentives to those in your sphere of responsibility. This is especially relevant as we are in a period of change, at the beginning of this amazing transformation journey to work in a new agile landscape. You need to have the interest and ability to motivate and guide the teams toward optimizing and prioritizing tasks. This also includes helping manage risk, deteriorate obstacles and interact with stakeholders.

We offer…

… a fantastic team culture where we care for each other, value personal development, and aim to give our employees the best possibilities to propel their careers. We also offer the flexibility to work both from home and from our new office hub close to the Central Station in Stockholm, in addition to our main office in Södertälje. As an employee at Scania you will have a lot of other benefits, please click here to read more about them, our core values, and how it is to work at Scania.

You have…

… experience in coaching and guiding teams according to the principles of SAFe/Agile working methods. You are social, and communicative and have good qualities to create self-organizing teams. Also, technical competence and knowledge about embedded systems are essential. Preferably you have experience in control system development and the automotive industry.

For you to enjoy and thrive in this position we believe you should be a curious person who is passionate about continuous improvement and gets motivated by both the success and challenges of the teams. You should have a pragmatic positive mindset and enjoy networking and collaboration.

Fluency in English both written and oral is required.
