Who are we?
Thermal Management is a department/sub-technology stream within Volvo Group Trucks Technology with the responsibility for developing optimized Vehicle thermal management system for all truck brands within the Volvo Group.
What will you do?
The Thermal Management Agile release train has been up and running for almost two years with a set of agile teams.
The role is part of the Thermal Management ART train management, and in this position, you will be a leader and coach. Communicating with stakeholders, escalating impediments, helping manage risk, and driving improvement are key activities. The RTE also has an important role to facilitate efficient cooperation between different ARTs, the line organization, and various projects.
So, if you believe in the agile way of working for system (HW / SW) development, this position offers you the challenge to be the coordinating person in the center of the development, with the opportunity to be part of developing new Thermal Management systems for all type of drivelines (Internal combustion engine, electromobility, Fuel cell) solutions and applications.
In your daily work, you will:
Drive our cultural transformation journey to a more flow-centric and agile way of working
Be involved in all aspects of the development lifecycle, from advanced engineering to the maintenance phase.
Secure our organization deliveries through agile ceremonies
Help manage and reduce risks and dependencies
Encourage collaboration between teams and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and implementation alignment
In this role, you will report formally to the Global Technology Manager – Thermal Management

Relevant Experience:
MSc Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics or similar
>5 years’ experience in systems (HW / SW) development using Agile principles
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Leadership experience
