Reliability Engineer with AWS competence

We are looking for a Reliability Engineer (RE) to strengthen our clients existing DevOps team as they roll out their solution across markets.

Job description

You will work within an existing team of DevOps engineers & developers with focus on the reliability of the system as a whole. You will work towards the reliability metrics for the application to preventively make sure the customer experience from a systems reliability perspective is as expected (or higher). To build reliability metrics and strive towards reaching targets set by the team, for the team by improving monitoring, scalability and work both reactively and proactively.

We also expect the RE to lead root cause analysis efforts, to contribute to fixing those issues by development, to identify and escalate product risks and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken to prevent future problems.

Regularly communicate quality of delivery to Product Owner and/or Tech Lead and take initiatives in problem solving, cost reductions, process improvement measures. You must be able to embrace change and have a strong focus on customer value.

Requirements

Must-have:

• At least 4 years of software development experience
• At least 4 years of fullstack web development experience
• Must be a fullstack developer
• It is a merit with tech lead characteristics
• Analytic skills
• Must be experienced in AWS Infrastructure & service and AWS serverless architecture & development
• At least 4 years of experience working in scrum teams
• Great experience in direct customer interactions
• Must be AWS certified
