Arbetsbeskrivning
Do you want to develop as a leader in an organization where safety and reliability are the highest priority?
In the role of Reliability Manager at Borealis, you are part of the organization's reliability network, where you also become a key player in the organization's development and continuous improvement of reliability. In this role, you lead a team of experts, engineers and specialists - where together you ensure that our Cracker and Polyethylene plant is reliable!
Do you want to develop in a company that always puts safety first? As Reliability Manager for our Plant Availability & Turn Around organization, you are responsible for implementing Boreali's operational safety processes in accordance with internal procedures, best practices and our Health, Safety & Environment strategy. You lead a team of 13-15 people where you coach and develop your group to achieve set goals, both technical reliability goals and individual personality development. You will also be responsible for recruiting your team and ensuring that the right skills are in the group.
We need your expertise in…
Conduct reliability processes, such as risk-based maintenance
Preventatively drive the risk management process, including taking the necessary steps for technical incidents, with the help of managers and colleagues in the business
Analyze operational outcomes and disturbances at our facilities in order to produce improvement data in order to be able to optimize the operational availability of our facilities
Ensure that the group eliminates and manages our facilities' bad actors
Support projects in the study phase, in order to ensure good design and good reliability
Manage our portfolio of “end of lifetime” projects, with responsibility for budget planning and resources to replace old equipment and systems
About you
The right person for the role has a BSc, but most preferably an MSc in the field or equivalent.
In the role, you are a coaching manager, but also technically savvy. We therefore believe that you have at least five years' work experience as an engineer, expert or specialist in the field of reliability or maintenance. If it is also from the petrochemical or energy sector, this is a merit. To be able to lead and coach this competent team, you probably also have a few years of experience as a leader, although experience from Borealis as an organization can outweigh.
Most important of all is your personality. As a leader, you are a star at seeing every individual in your group. You are communicative as a person, mainly in English, but over time also in Swedish, which contributes to your good ability to handle many stakeholders with a focus on service. You work process-oriented in the role, where you benefit greatly from your structured side. In addition, you are persistent, detail-oriented and have a good ability to work together. Leading a team to set goals - is not a challenge for you!
