The Remarketing Analyst is a key asset in Volvo’s Remarketing and Used Car Team. You will be responsible for the analysis of Volvo’s Used Cars Stock level across relevant markets, i.e., for Ex-Rental, Global online experience (GOX), Company Cars and ECars. The Position is not only a reporting function but also to manage the relationship between the different stakeholders and find its way to provide reports that allow Volvo to lead the company by numbers, based on a transparent set of Key Performance Indicators. The Position owns the Organization of monthly sales calls and the complete development of the future Reporting Structure for the central Remarketing Team. A close link to Residual Value Management and Finance is key.

What you will do:
•    Provide strong business analysis for remarketing operation and sales on balancing supply and demand, monitoring stock changes and cash flow
•    Developing sales forecast, and detecting export and trade opportunities based on existing tools and data watching wholesale and retail opportunities
•    Setup monthly remarketing sales calls and coordinate regular meetings with markets
•    Build different reports based on operational input from markets and data from used car systems and take deep analysis to improve the business
•    Support the Remarketing Sales Manager with continuous daily analysis on market trends, stock monitoring, and operation optimization, to allow fact-based decision making. 
•    Improved analysis to drive operational excellence for better sales and profit
•    Build a completely new Reporting Structure for Remarketing Sales and Operations
•    Liaison with local, NSC based Remarketing Managers to ensure reporting does consider national and European requirements and differences
•    Regular exchange and follow-up with markets on data variances, deviations, or missing data input
•    Prepare and circulate regular Remarketing reports and analysis by market
•    Creation of the monthly Senior management presentation and ad hoc reporting if required

Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for you with great experience in analyzing data and information to understand how this relates to the business overall.

You also have:
•    University degree in Marketing, Business, Accounting, or other relevant subjects
•    Fluent communication skills in English on both oral and written, additional languages are beneficial
•    A comprehensive understanding of the automotive industry and its related value chain
•    Good communication and presentation skills, combined with strong teamwork spirit and the ability to work in multi-cultural and cross-national remote teams
•    Ability to structure, organise and simplify complex tasks
•    Self-motivated and taking initiative to identify and push new aspects on RV Reporting, Analysis and RV management
•    Business & cooperation software literate to handle daily work tasks
•    Strong ability in quantitative field such as statistics or economics
•    Very good analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly define problems, collect data and draw valid conclusions with facts and figures
