We are now looking for a Repair Development Engineer in the group RMA Tech within the Supply Chain department in Operations.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
In the position as Repair Development Engineer, you will work between our Product projects and our global repair partners (16 partners). In the projects you will speak for Design For Repair, and assure that we can repair the product in the aftermarket. Internally you will work close with the RMA Supply department who will purchase stock of products and parts. Externally to our repair partners you will be the specialist in testing and repairing Axis products.

Responsibilities will include:

* Developing and maintaining Repair manuals in cooperation with Research & Development.
* Approve parts that may be used for repairs.
* Train and inform global partners in how to repair Axis products.
* Perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) of new products. Perform repairs in order to train others but also to improve products.
* Learn how to use Axis test system for repairs and analysis.
* Analyze return and test data. Be the person that knows what repair parts have been used and why. Use this data for End-Of-Life product handling.
* Work with continuous improvements in the daily work.

You will report to the Supply Chain Quality Manager.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe that you are a person with a strong personal drive who easily co-operates across organizational and cultural borders.

You have a technical base and are interested in both mechanical and especially electronic devices (with a special eager to repair them). You are goal oriented and well organized. You are always open and willing to learn.

We believe you have:

* A technical degree in a related area
* 2-3 years’ experience from working in an international organization
* Experience from working in R&D projects
* Experience in Root Cause Analysis
* Experience in electronic production or testing
* Experience in soldering and components
* Good skills in Excel and MS Office
* Strong ability to plan your own activities, to drive initiatives and to be responsible for the result.

Furthermore you are fluent in English. Travelling is part of the job and thus required, we estimate 20 days/year. The RMA Tech group consists of 4 persons.

THE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT
Operations is Axis supply chain organization. We work closely with the Research & Development department in industrializing new products to high volume and specified quality, and then run everything from demand planning, through purchasing, customer order management, quality assurance, production and logistics including shipments to our distributors. We also take care of reverse logistics which include handling broken units from customers.

Operations also have some key supporting functions like Quality, Production Preparation and Facilities. Once our customers know what they want to buy, Operations make sure they get it. In this we work closely with Sales. Axis will stick with customers all the way, especially when something goes wrong.
