As a Repair Management Operations Engineer, you will be a part of Axis product projects, manage repair operations at partners and be responsible for technical handling within the Reverse Supply Chain organization. This applies from Concept review until the products are Discontinued (End-Of-Support).

Your future team
You will join the Repair Management Operations department who is a part of the Reverse Supply Chain organization. We have 13 global partners that is doing the actual repairs, but we also use the electronic manufacturing suppliers for more advance repairs that requires complex fixtures used in forward production.

Your role as a reverse supply chain
Our products are of very high quality and contains sophisticated solutions. These products do however break from time to time (both mechanical and electronics), and our vision is then to turn this into a positive experience to the customer. The overall flow is that our Support organization will communicate with the customer and in many cases create a return case where Axis repair partners physically need to have a look at the broken unit. It is when the case is created that Reverse Supply Chain step into action Repair Management will ensure that the returned products are up to its original specification.

Your responsibilities and your main tasks will include:

* Drive rework and maintenance projects with our 13 external and global partners and ensure that a high-quality work is performed. This is a focus area.
* Be a part of R&D product projects and be responsible for the repair strategy from concept to end of support.
* Drive DFR, Design For Repair, within the projects. Example is "do not glue", "must be possible to assemble/re-assemble", "a standalone test fixture must be used" etc.
* Develop and analyze return data.
* Decide what repairs are cost efficient and decide what repair parts to purchase. Both mechanical and electronics.
* Act as technical support for partners and suppliers in repair related issues. Set up technical environment, develop and train staff on site.
* Be prepared to travel 10-15 days to partners and suppliers per year.

Who are you?
To succeed in this role, it's important that you are driven and self-going. We believe you have an excellent attention to details and love to structure things in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. You will have many interfaces; therefore, you need to be a great communicator and skilled in collaborating with others.


In addition to above we believe you have:

* Bachelor's in engineering.
* Experience from project management (this is a major part of the job).
* Swedish and English in writing and speaking.
* Driven, structured, curious, problem solve oriented and a team player.
* A few years' experience of working in projects.
* Very good computer (Windows) skills, both hardware and software (MS Office, pivot tables in Excel).
* Experience in electronic design, production or repair.
