Job Description
IKEA Components is looking for a Requirement & Design Engineer (RDE) to our great team of Engineers within retail equipment. The base in your work will be to work with both mechanical design, digital solutions and lighting.
As a Requirement & Design Engineer (RDE) you will be responsible for:
Develop products within the retail equipment range in different materials and functions from concept sketches to final product
Responsible for improvements of the current range and creating range plans for better products

Qualifications
University degree in engineering or equivalent qualification
Five year’s work experience in engineering
Experience from “mechatronic” design
Good analytical skills and a pro-active and problem-solving approach
Experiences of FEA engineering and simulation
Good communication skill
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
