Job Description
You will have the opportunity to join into a growing and cross-functional product development team of Residential Heat Pumps in Tranås. Your contribution as Requirement Engineer will create the essential value add into successful product introduction for our heat pump business.
Create something new:
You are coordinating and supervising the creation of the system requirements in the context of various projects. You are implementing and maintaining transparency for the RE-Process to improve continuously the quality and traceability for the projects.
This happens with an active involvement of the stakeholders together with the customer and market perspective.
You are responsible for the harmonization of the specifications and for the standardization of the RE process throughout different product lines and locations, by being the interface between the project/development teams, and the process development. Target is to proactively improve the requirements process defined for the teams and products.
Take responsibility:
You ensure a clearly described basis right from the start for the development of requirements and support the organization with our RE-Process. You contribute to a sustainable and comprehensible implementation of the requirements with your knowledge about the methods and tools.
Assess analytically:
You are transferring requirements from different markets and customers to harmonized and coordinated system requirements within electrification, e.g. for electric heat pumps in combination with other components.
Life cooperation:
You are working closely with a lot of international experts and team with different technical backgrounds.
You are a central contact person for requirement engineering and according to methods throughout the whole HP Product Ownership in Tranås representing the business unit electric solutions.
Qualifications
Working style: systematically, analytically and independently, self-confident and good at communicating with different management levels, able to present complex issues in an understandable way. Appreciate to work in an international environment
Experience and know-how: approx. 1-3 years of experience in engineering, preferably in the field of heat pumps and their integration into heating systems and/or electrification (residential area). Experience with Requirements Engineering and transfer of Market Use Cases into transparent REs. Practical experience in using and guiding RE-Tools (e.g. JIRA); Proficient with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote)
Personality: structured, initiative, technology affine, goal- and solution-oriented
Qualification: Knowledge in thermodynamics and mechanical engineering. Able to understand complex system development with the beneficial experience in the HVAC field.
Willingness to travel: approx. 10%, mainly in Europe
Languages: excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Education: Master or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineer, Physics Engineering, or similar
