Do you want to be a key player in developing naval Submarines and Surfaceships of tomorrow? We are looking for a new member to our cross functional team, Interdisciplinary Integration. As a Requirement & Verification Manager with us, you will lead our organization into success!

Your role

As Requirement & Verification Manager, you will be part of the product development process and work closely with our engineers, leading and supporting them to make sure that all requirements set for our Naval Submarines and our Surface Ships are encounted for in the design.

Your main focus will be to make the requirements work smooth and efficient in our different projects, thereby giving the engineers the best tool for breakdown and analysis of their respective areas of responsibility. You will be part of a requirements competence network further developing our tools, methods, templates and processes, covering the whole process from the first interest of a potential customer, through the development, to the final verification of our products. You will be the one driving the requirement work out in the organization, holding training and making sure our people understand the process. This is a supporting function as well, and you need to enjoy the hole scope of the role. Even though your role initially will be within the Requirements and Verification disciplines, there will be great opportunities to develop skills within other disciplines within the team.

Please note the role will require some business travels between our sites in Malmö and Karlskrona.


Your profile

We are looking for you with a structured mind and high committment to making the processes of Requirements and Verification work efficiently in practice in our projects. You have the ability to identify the essential parts of a process to understand how to support our engineers in the best way and to lead and encourage them to reach the right quality on time.

You are analytical, can work independently and you seek necessary contacts and information when needed. You have a systematic approach and take responsibility for your deliveries. Hence the many contact surfaces and various stakeholders, we believe you enjoy this and are quite easy going and social.

Required skills:

* At least a masters degree in engineering or equivalent
* Experience of a requirements tool
* Project experience related to complex product development
* Good communication skills in English, verbal and written



Desired skills:

* Skills specifically in IBM DOORS and in DXL programming
* Requirement Engineering certification (e.g. IREB/CPRE)
* Good communication skills in Swedish, verbal and written


This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.


What you will be a part of

You will be a part of Saab Kockums, developing Submarines and Surface Ships. Specifically a part of the area CEA (Combat, Electrical and Automation Systems), in the team Interdisciplinary Integration, and in our strive to develop our complex products according to our customers highly set requirements.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers and professionals within the area, and together with them develop our products all the way from the earliest concept studies to the finally tested and verified platforms delivered to the customer.

The team you will join, Interdisciplinary Integration, is a cross functional team that works with Software Safety analysis, Systems Safety Analysis, Requirements and Verification Support and Logistics Support Analysis, among others. The teams main goal is to ensure a smooth integration of the area CEAs systems onto our submarines and surface ships.
