What you’ll do
Cytiva is looking for a Research engineer to join its Manufacturing science and technology (MSAT) department, based in Uppsala, Sweden. The successful candidate will assist the R&D team in Uppsala to help accelerate a successful process transfer to a second resin manufacturing site. As a research engineer the main part of the role is to perform synthesis work in lab scale and hence the person suited for this opening should enjoy working in a chemistry lab but documentation is also a crucial task for this position.

You are a structured and organized team player, with significant professional experience and a degree in a relevant area. You are a goal oriented problem solver, who has a burning passion for working in cross functional teams securing the quality of documentation from a technical perspective.
Qualifications/ Requirements
- MSc or equal experience in chemistry
- 1 to 3 years’ work experience in relevant fields
- Documented laboratory experience
- Delivery focus
- Structured and organised team player
- Good interpersonal skills
- English and Swedish as working languages
- Ability to travel
Desired Experience
- Experience of work with polysaccharides
- Experience from process analytical technology
- Experience from development of gel filtration media
