We are now looking for a R&D Engineer to join our passionate team in Stockholm. You will have a significant role in delivering Enerpoly’s battery technologies to the market and bring the world closer to 100% renewable energy.


As our R&D Engineer, you will work closely with our Product Development team and support in battery development, testing and manufacturing. You will coordinate with our talented Battery Scientist to scale up tests, manage data acquisition and lead the development of battery management systems. You exhibit a can-do attitude, and you approach problems with vigor and determination. You are expected to demonstrate versatility and possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.


Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Formulate and execute test protocols to acquire high quality data to support the Product Development team
● Analyze electrochemical datasets and effectively communicate the cell performance parameters
● Defining cells qualification criteria, especially key parameters required from industrial applications with respects to the cell intrinsic features
● Develop battery management systems
● Hands on prototype building
● Analysis and optimization of cell manufacture process including materials and equipment

To be successful in this role, you will need:
● Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
● Experience in Battery R&D and testing
● Expertise in MATLAB, Python or other relevant programming languages
● Experience in electronic hardware and software development
● Experience with product validation & engineering
● Startup and growth company experience is an advantage
● Excellent oral and written English language skills are required
