Research assistant decision-making and managerial behavior

The Department of Economics at the Swedish University of Agriculture (SLU) announces a vacancy as a research assistant in the research group for decision-making and managerial behavior. The position is linked to an externally funded research project. The project is about financial instruments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from both consumption and production of food. The task is to collect data for a behavioral experiment and to prepare the analysis of this data. The Research Group for Decision Making and Managerial Behavior currently consists of six people with a common interest in developing knowledge that integrates economics and behavioral science, using experimental and statistical methods. Our research strives to be relevant and innovative for society as well as business within the green industries. 




Work duties and qualifications



Applicants should have a background in economics at university level, preferably master's level and with a specialization in behavioral economics. For the position, we are looking for a person who is willing to collect data in a store in Stockholm. You must therefore speak Swedish fluently. For the positions, it is also good if you have previous experience of working with econometrics, preferably in programs such as Stata or R. For the position, you need to be thorough and structured in your way of working. You also need to have a strong drive and be able to work independently. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
