Active outreach and frequent dialogue with stakeholders are key activities.

Every week, year round, as part of a team of four, the technical assistant will conduct multi-scale sampling (see https://www.helsinki.fi/en/node/83770) and targeted experiments in Sweden. When not in the field, the assistant will process samples of different types in Uppsala.
Qualifications:
The successful candidates should hold a training as e.g. biologist, ecologist or biomedical laboratory analysts. Since they are expected to do both laboratory and field work, we expect previous, documented experience of each type of tasks. To be able to successfully complete their various tasks, the candidate should be able to take initiative and work independently as well as in a team.
