We are looking for a Research Assistant to the department of Biosciences and Nutrition.

Your mission
The Research Assistant will be working in Professor Marie Löf’s IMPACT Research group https://ki.se/en/bionut/the-impact-research-group-marie-lof under the guidance of Senior Researcher Ioannis Ioakeimidis and Assistant Professor Billy Langlet. The group performs school-based research on recording and analyzing adolescents’ lifestyle behaviors using mHealth tools, together with monitoring and evaluation of the local and digital food environment parameters (e.g., food marketing content analysis; physical and digital. Local student population food- and health-related beliefs, perceptions and attitudes are also studied. To achieve these goals you will closely work with senior research stuff in the IMPACT group to collect and analyze relevant quantitative and qualitative data, both through eHealth and qualitative methodologies, helping to build a robust dataset to support further research studies and public health interventions.
This position is for 12 months and interviews will take place continuously.
Your profile
A background in nutritional science, with previous experience in school-based research is a strong advantage, especially if it concerns nutritional or lifestyle behavioral analyses. Alternatively, experience with data collection including children and families will also be appreciated. Similarly, hands on experience with qualitative data collection and analysis of qualitative datasets, particularly including children (e.g., focus groups interviews etc), is very relevant. Strong oral and written skills in English is required. You must also be able to understand oral and written Swedish, due to the nature of the required qualitative data collection/analysis, and fluent communication in Swedish is required. An educational background in Nutrition (or a similar field) and some experience with eHealth data collection methodologies will be appreciated.
