The School of Business and Economics (SBE) at Linnaeus University conducts research and education in business administration, economics, statistics as well as tourism studies. Our task is to make people grow with the help of knowledge that researchers, teachers and students co-create. Job description
The position as a research assistant is financed by the European Union, within the project FLIARA – Female-led Innovation in Agriculture and Rural Areas. The project will develop the understanding, awareness, and recognition of women’s role in a more sustainable rural future. More specifically, the project will develop proposals for how more effective policy and governance frameworks can support this and enhance women’s capacity to contribute to it. The consortium involved includes 15 partners all over Europe. Linnaeus University if one of two Swedish partners and we are also co-lead for one of the work packages involving case studies. The work of the research assistant will involve planning and doing literature reviews and administrating field work.

Extent: The position is for 6 months, 50%
Starting date: May 2023 or according to agreement
Subject area: Entrepreneurship

Requirements
The person qualified for employment should have a PhD in business administration focusing on Entrepreneurship or has time set for defence of PhD dissertation. Ideally, the candidate should have published in peer-reviewed journals within the field.

Assessment
The assessment takes note of knowledge in critical entrepreneurship theory, practical qualitative methods, and a knowledge of the Swedish rurality. We expect you to be fluent in English while fluent Swedish is of merit.
